Online Web Developers, Inc. (OWDI) company policies are listed below so that our methods are understood. If you have any questions about explanations or exceptions, please feel free to contact us.
Privacy
When on www.owdi.com, any information given to us is and will remain private without any exceptions. Personal information is gathered for contact information purposes only.
We do not and will not ever share personal information that is submitted to us and we will not send any unnecessary e-mails to any e-mail addresses that we receive. If you feel you have been inappropriately contacted or received an unwanted e-mail, please let us know about it. We make every attempt to keep a close, personal relationship with all of our clients. Your comfort and confidence helps keep that possible.
Web Design & Development
Ownership of Files
Files created exclusively for the client company are considered “works made for hire.”
Browser Compliance
Unless specifically requested or required by compliance limitations, all websites will be developed to work with IE7, IE8, IE9, Chrome, Firefox 4.x, and Safari 5.x.
Impact of Future Technology
All websites are designed with current technology in mind. We make no claims about how websites will look or function with browser not available at the time of development.Copyrighted Materials
For legal reasons we do not incorporate copyrighted materials into any project without consent from the owner.
Web & Email Hosting
Cancellation/Termination of Service
Web & E-mail Hosting is an annual service that is automatically renewed and invoiced for. If Web & E-Mail Hosting services are canceled by the client or terminated because of lack of payment, the website and associated e-mail will be deactivated. In order to avoid confusion when renewing Web & E-Mail Hosting services, OWDI bills for the service 2 months in advance of the renewal date. If the renewal payment is not received by the time the annual services is scheduled to renew, services are put on hold or terminated.
Cancellation in First Month
If Annual Web E-Mail Hosting is canceled within 30 days of its initiation, any payment(s) made for the Annual Web & E-Mail Hosting will be reimbursed.
Term of Service Agreement
For us to process a Web & E-Mail Hosting order, the Web & E-Mail Hosting Terms of Service must be read and agreed to.
Domain Names
Registration and Renewal
If OWDI registers a domain name and it resides in OWDI's domain name account, OWDI will be listed as the Registrant and Administrative Contact unless different ownership information is provided to OWDI by the client for whom the domain name was registered.
Auto-Renewal
OWDI will pay for domain names for which we provide Web Hosting or Business E-Mail. Those domain names will be automatically renewed by OWDI if the annual Web Hosting or Business E-Mail services are renewed/continued.
Cancellation/Termination of Service
Upon cancellation or termination of a service involving a domain name managed by OWDI, if the client's accounts are current, OWDI will update all ownership information for domain names registered on behalf of the client to reflect the client's ownership and will assist the client in transferring the domain name to their own registrar account
